WHAT SUBJECT IS IMPORTANT TO PASS DURING A MATURITY EXAM?
A foreign, modern language and 2 subjects from the following: mathematics, information technology, physics (with astronomy), chemistry, Polish language.
A job in information technology sector is dependent upon his/her professional interests.
The graduate may work e.g. as: an administrator of networks and data systems, programmer, designer or tester of information systems – including web systems and applications intended for mobile devices.
The graduates usually have no problems with finding very attractive and highly paid positions connected with their professional qualifications.
Numerous graduates set up their own companies implementing interesting, innovative projects for the Polish as well as foreign entrepreneurs.
FIRST CECLE DEGREE PROGRAMME
The studies last 7 semesters in the daily, full – time mode - S (on site) and 8 semesters in the part – time mode - NS (extramural).
The studies are completed with obtaining a Bachelor degree (inżynier).
Among the basic educational contents there are e.g.: mathematical analysis and linear algebra, probabilistic methods and statistics, discreet mathematics, electro technology, geometry and engineering graphics, metrology, physics.

SECOND CYCLE DEGREE PROGRAMME
The studies last 3 semesters in the daily, full – time mode – S (on site) and 4 semesters in the part – time mode – NS (extramural).
They are completed with obtaining a Masters degree (magister inżynier).

The degree programme (in the daily, full – time mode on site) offers education for two bilingual language groups: Polish – German and Polish - English. University training comprises classes in selected subjects and writing a diploma work in a foreign language.
The lectures are also scheduled for the students coming from abroad under the auspices of Erasmus+ programme.
The assessment granted to the department by the National Accreditation Committee as well as by the Accreditation Committee of Technical Universities guarantees a high level of educational quality.
The department is also under the accreditation of FEANI (European Federation of National Engineering Associations).
